How eJoin works

    eJoin is a real-world coordination platform. It helps venues and events organize how guests participate — without making them stand in line.

    The core idea

    Every venue has Areas — the places where things actually happen. Each Area uses one form of Coordination to decide how guests participate. Two common forms today are Spots and queues called eLine that you easily adapt to your preferences - even live.

    Spots

    Spots are limited places guests can reserve before something starts, or claim while it is live. Used for activities with or without a defined start and end — a surf lesson, a yoga class, a workshop, a guided tour. If everything is taken, guests can join a waitlist.

    eLine — the line, in two modes

    eLine is the line itself. Every eLine runs in one of two modes — eQ (staff-guided) or WeQ (self-guided). You can switch modes anytime without disrupting guests. Guests can progressively send them selves back in line if they need more time - as you can defer them progressively in case of no-show. Admin controls all settings - staff controls live settings - gusts just scan and relax until getting served.

    eQ — staff-guided mode

    In eQ mode, an operator manages the flow and calls the next guest. Guests wait their turn from anywhere. Used at counters, food trucks, bakeries, and service desks.

    WeQ — self-guided mode

    In WeQ mode, guests self-coordinate as the resource frees up — with optional, light staff attention. Used for showers at a beach club, laundry machines in a condo, shared tools in a workshop.

    What makes it different

    • No app download. Guests join via QR code or a link.
    • No standing in line. Guests are notified when it's their turn.
    • Not a static ticketing tool — Spots reflect live capacity.
    • Not a calendar booking tool — eJoin coordinates the moment, not 30-minute time blocks weeks ahead.

    Built for integration

    eJoin's coordination data is structured as a first-class, canonical state model. This means the platform is designed for future API access and integrations — with venue websites, access-control systems, booking tools, and AI assistants.
