How Live Reserve works
Live Reserve is the shared coordination capacity available to your operation. It is only consumed while eJoin is actively coordinating something scarce.

A transfer coordination closes automatically after about 15 minutes without coordination activity. That timeout is an implementation parameter, not an economic rule.
WeQ counts one active transfer coordination per active service unit. No attendance multipliers, no pressure factors — deliberately simple until Beta shows otherwise.

Live Reserve is active now so we can learn from real-world coordination. If your reserve reaches the Beta Continuity threshold, eJoin automatically adds a Beta Continuity Grant so operations continue uninterrupted while commercial billing is not yet available.

- Never.
- What exactly consumes Live Reserve?
- Live Reserve is consumed only while eJoin is actively coordinating access to a scarce shared resource. It follows the capacity you coordinate over time — never the number of guests, bookings, transactions or scans.
- What if nobody comes?
- Nothing is consumed. Empty queues and quiet venues are free.
- Does planning or presale use Live Reserve?
- No. Planning, publishing, scheduling and presale remain free — a festival can sell a year ahead and spend nothing until opening day.
- Do capabilities include coordination?
- No, and that is deliberate. Capabilities change what eJoin knows. Live Reserve changes how much of the real world it coordinates. Neither replaces the other.
- How is a large WeQ deployment counted?
- WeQ counts one active transfer coordination per active service unit. No attendance multipliers, no pressure factors — deliberately simple until Beta shows otherwise.
- Can I stop using eJoin for a while?
- Yes. Your Live Reserve belongs to its owner and is not lost through inactivity, a missing venue or a changed admin role.
